An absolute hidden Diamond. Ive gone past this place which is small and in a small alcove from the road so its easy to drive past and miss. Once you discover it though, you will never go to a different Chinese takeaway place! I know I wont be. Beautiful fluffy rice, good quality dishes that are generous and full of meat. Sauces not too sickly sweet or glowing with unnatural radioactive colours (like you get in some Chinese places!) and as if that is not enough its great value for money too! Couldn't be better. Long live Golden Sun and to the owners, please dont change a thing!

Tried many Chinese take aways local to the area of pontllanfraith and never found one I've liked until now. The golden sun have a 5 star hygiene rating, lovely staff in the shop and delivery drivers. Food is always cooked fresh, never burnt or undercooked. Food isn't salty nor dry. It never arrives cold even if there a wait. With only one chef and 1 kitchen staff I really don't know how they do it. They work their socks off to make every customer happy. Best take away around!
After recently finding a Chinese takeaway in Saundersfoot that offered gluten free dishes I thought I'd try and find a local one on returning home. Out of all the takeaways I rang Golden Sun was the ONLY one willing to help. The staff were great and were able to advise me which dishes could be adapted to be gluten free and last night I enjoyed my first local Chinese takeaway in 7 years (which was when I was diagnosed with coeliac disease). Can't rate Golden Sun highly enough and can't wait to return.
Good food there also good service as well and the atmosphere is incredible. I would fully recommend going there

I've eaten a lot of Chinese food from all over. This is 1 of the best. Once you include the great value, it's actually the best. I drive 14miles to get here, passing many other decent take aways along the route. Worth it.
